Planted on New Zealand’s largest quartz deposit, Quartz Reef specializes in the creation of exceptional sparkling wine and still Pinot Noirs. The north-facing vineyard is situated for the quartz soil to absorb the heat of the sun, which increase the ripening of the grapes in the cool Central Otago climate. Quartz Reef vinifies wines of outstanding flavor and intensity under the direction of lauded winemaker, Rudi Bauer.
